Allied Health two students have the opportunity to learn advanced skills and practice skills learned in class as they participate in work based learning experiences. Work based learning experiences take place at area medical facilities. Allied Health two students must first complete required paperwork and immunizations, as well as meet facility requirements before starting their work based learning rotations. Learning takes place as students shadow and assist, based on scope of practice, their assigned mentor as that staff person completes their daily work tasks within the medical facility. Tasks and assignments are directly related to individual work sites.
