Allied Health I
The Allied Health I program at the TBAISD Career-Tech Center provides a foundation of knowledge and skills required to gain competence for an entry level position within the health care field. The purpose of the program is to enrich students with fundamental concepts relevant to all areas of health care, develop characteristics of a strong work ethic, and provide training in basic patient care skills such as:
· Bed making
· Hand washing
· Taking and recording vital signs
· Assisting a patient with transfer from bed to
wheelchair/ambulation
Honor Roll Certificate
This is a photo of the certificate that I received for getting all A's for the first semester at the Career Tech Center. It shows that I am a very hard worker and that I do things very well and turn them in on time.
Transmissons Based Precautions Module
This is a photo of a module that I did very well on. The subject is Transmissions Based Precautions. I got 100% on the test and I turned the module in on time. This shows that I am well versed in the information about Transmissions based precautions and I am very responsible because I turned the module in on time.
Perfect Attendance
This is the letter that I received for getting perfect attendance in Allied Health. It shows that I am very responsible because I made it to every single class. It also shows that people can depend on me because I always show up to places that I need to be at.
CPR Module
This module that we covered in Allied Health was on CPR. I am certified in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR. I also received a 100% on the written test.
Edge Safety
This is a certificate showing that I passed the Edge Workplace Safety Awareness Program. I now attain knowledge on how to keep myself and others around me safe while working which is very important, especially when working in health care because you are responsible for the well being of many people besides yourself.
